Miscible Water Alternating Gas CO2 Injection Performance Analysis as Efforts to Improve Oil Recovery Factors in Field CW

The Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) method aims to increase oil production. One of the EOR methods is CO2 injection. injection mechanism by expanding volume oil, reducing viscosity, and mobility ratio. purpose study was compare recovery factor gain in waterflood, Miscible Continuous injection, WAG with a three-dimensional simulation methodology using CMG Compositional software CW Field. From field, sectoral model chosen be studied, namely area CW-A well CW-B because two areas have different reservoir conditions. optimal pattern for Well Inverted Five Spot. said miscible pressure are above MMP (2800 psi) mixing occurs between form homogeneous phase. (Low Permeability) 4 PV Continues Injection scenario (injection rate 31.8 Mscf/d) produces an RF 61.18%. Optimal (High Area CO2-WAG 2 90 days (3 months) cycle, Ratio 1:3 water 20,036.84 bwpd gas 33.75 61.76%.
